Alchemization of a Soulmate II
30x40
Acrylic on canvas, framed
This painting is a ritual in form and flame. Alchemization of a Soulmate II is the second invocation in an ongoing exploration of divine union—not as romance, but as metamorphosis. A sacred heart, encaged in flame and carried by ravens, rises between the weeping moon and witnessing sun. Below, the alchemical lion and dragon spiral in eternal confrontation and creation, locked in the ouroboric tension that births transformation. Above all, the all-seeing eye watches—not as judge, but as initiator.
This piece is an altar to the soul’s union with its mirror. To the death of illusion. To the raw, holy work of merging light and shadow, body and ether, self and other. At its base: Azoth—the universal medicine, the unifying spirit of alchemy, the beginning and end.
Symbolism:
Sacred Heart with Flame: Love that purifies, not pacifies
Ravens: Messengers of shadow and mystery, carriers of sacred fire
Weeping Moon / Stern Sun: Dualities held in balance—grief and clarity, intuition and truth
Lion and Dragon (Sol and Luna): The coniunctio oppositorum—the sacred merging of polarities
Azoth Inscription: The alchemical essence; the soul made whole through transmutation
Part of an ongoing alchemical series.
